Botox blocks signals from the nerves to the muscles. The injected muscle can no longer contract, which causes the wrinkles to relax and soften.
It is most often used on forehead lines, crow's feet (lines around the eye) and frown lines. Wrinkles caused by sun damage and gravity will not respond to Botox.
How Is the Procedure Performed?
The procedure takes only
a few minutes and no anesthesia is required. Botox is injected with a fine needle into specific muscles with only minor discomfort. It generally takes three to seven days to take full effect and it
is best to avoid alcohol at least one week prior to treatment. Aspirin and anti-inflammatory medications should be stopped two weeks before treatment as well in order to reduce bruising. MORE PHOTOS

If you have small wrinkles and fine age lines, microdermabrasion may be for you. Microdermabrasion can be used to treat acne scars, age spots and the fine lines that may be present at the outside of a patient's eyes (crow's feet.)
Microdermabrasion is ideally suited for a person who has aged skin or skin that has been damaged by overexposure to the sun. It is skin resurfacing using fine sand particles against the skin in a matter of minutes. Microdermabrasion treatments polish and soften the skin, reducing fine lines on the face.
Nonablative Laser: Before and After
Nonablative laser therapy is a good option for people hoping to improve both skin tone and texture without taking time off from work. Each session may cause mild redness, which improves quickly. For the best results, plan on four to six treatments with several weeks in between.
Removal of embarresing body hair is now possible with the use of lasers. Thick unsightly hair can be removed with a cool-tip laser to minimize discomfort. Typically 5-7 treatments are needed for a good outcome. If you have waxed or plucked the hair in the past, more treatments may be needed. Maintenance treatments are needed 1-2 times a year after the bulk of the hair is gone.
